Installation ceremony of Thanjavur Sub Chapter in Yercaud on 2nd August 2025.
It was truly an amazing installation function for our Thanjavur sub-chapter of IFMR India last night.
We began our journey with 20 IFMRians from Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, and Pondicherry, reaching Yercaud by 12 noon. We were warmly welcomed by our Past Presidents of IFMR India, Rtn. Rajesh Sir and Rtn. Ajith Sir, who had arrived a little earlier.
At the same time, our friends from the Coimbatore sub-chapter of IFMR India, along with the Salem team who will soon be launching their sub-chapter, joined us. We all gathered for lunch at our pre-booked resort.
Later, we assembled in the hall and commenced the installation ceremony for our second year. Before the chief guest’s address, our esteemed Past Presidents, Rtn. Rajesh Sir and Rtn. Ajith Sir, shared valuable insights about IFMR India and presented the itinerary for the 2025–26 calendar.
Following the grand moments of the function, our Chairman delivered his acceptance speech, sharing his vision for the future. Our Secretary then delivered the vote of thanks to all present.
The evening concluded with a memorable fellowship dinner. This morning, after breakfast, we departed from Yercaud, had lunch at Attur, and finally returned to our hometowns — carrying memories that will stay in our hearts forever.
